Straight from Microsoft’s website comes a stern warning about a security hole that apparently can happen by simply going to a bad website. Make sure your Windows system is promptly updated, like now!
The most severe of these vulnerabilities could allow elevation of privilege if an unauthenticated attacker sends a specially crafted web request to the target site. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take any action in the context of an existing account on the ASP.NET site, including executing arbitrary commands

Google plus is offering a collection of new features to improve the experience. Those include:

“Volume” controls for who you follow. Very neat idea here in that you can fine tune how “loud”, i.e. prominently, to feature some of your friends over others. Will be nice to see how this works in practice, though it sounds good. I’ve got some chatterboxes who I would like to turn down yet other far less frequent friends that I don’t want to miss

If you absolutely must get an iPad 2, be my guest. But don’t be disappointed when the iPad 3 comes out around the spring next year in 2012. Can you hang on? I will!
The next generation iPads are expected to be available in the next 3-4 months as makers in the supply chain have started delivering parts and components for the new tablets to OEM contractors while reducing those prepared for iPad 2, according to sources in the supply chain.
